A Standard Clean is built around surfaces you touch and see every day. A Deep Clean adds the ones you do not: the top edge of a door frame, the track a window slides in, the grout line between tiles, the floor under a bed.
None of that is difficult work. It is simply slow, which is why it does not fit inside a maintenance visit and is priced separately.

Where a Deep Clean earns its name
These four take the largest share of the extra hours, and they are the ones you will notice.
Grout and tile
Worked line by line rather than mopped over. This is the single slowest part of the visit.
Edges and trim
Baseboards, door frames, picture rails and switch plates — where dust settles and stays.
Interior glass and tracks
Windows from the inside, plus the sills and runners that collect grit.

Movable furniture shifted, cleaned behind, and put back where it was.
What a Deep Clean still does not cover
A Deep Clean goes further than a Standard one. It is not unlimited, and these need a specialist.

What we will ask about the property
Square footage alone cannot tell us how long a Deep Clean will take. These are the questions that actually change the answer.
- When was the property last cleaned thoroughly?
- Are there rooms that have been closed off or used for storage?
- Is there visible buildup on grout, glass or tile?
- Are there pets in the home, and do they shed?
- Is the property occupied or empty during the visit?
- Are there surfaces needing a specific product — stone, hardwood, specialty finishes?

Deep Cleaning questions
A Deep Clean includes everything in a Standard Clean, plus baseboards, door frames, interior windows and tracks, behind and under furniture, and detailed grout work. It is the same method applied further, not a different one.
Considerably longer than a maintenance visit, and it depends far more on condition than on floor area. That is why we ask about the property's state before quoting rather than pricing from square footage.
Often, but not always. If the home has been kept up, Standard visits can start straight away. If there is buildup, a Deep Clean gives the recurring visits a baseline to hold — otherwise every visit spends its time on the backlog.
It will get a home back to a clean baseline. What it cannot do is reverse damage — etched stone, worn grout, or staining that has gone into a material rather than sitting on it. We will tell you which is which rather than promising a result we cannot deliver.
Yes. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most common single-room requests, because they are where buildup shows first.
We move what can be moved safely by the team — sofas, chairs, light units, beds where there is clearance. We do not move heavy appliances, large wardrobes or anything that risks damaging the floor or the item.
